When purchasing from STO Models You Are Agreeing To These Terms

Note: The products we sell are mechanical and electrical and require regular maintenance and repair. We recommend that you or the person(s) you are purchasing for are technically and mechanically minded and are aged 14+!


Card Authorisation:

As part of our security checks to protect genuine cardholders, we may request authorisation from your card provider for an amount not exceeding the value of your order. In the event that we reject your offer to purchase or we accept your request to cancel this order please note that it may take several days before your card provider cancels this authorisation.

If you wish to cancel an order placed with us. Please do so by emailing salesdesk@storacingproducts.com.

All goods despatched are insured to protect both you and us.
All claims for shortages and damages must be reported to our customer service department within 7 days of receiving the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Please note all specification and colours on our products are subject to change without notice. All photo's used on this website are for guidance only and the actual product may vary slightly from the displayed photo.

Please note that when choosing a particular colour of a product this is not always guaranteed.

Money Back Guarantee for Unwanted Purchases

If the product has been purchased and within the first 7 days of its arrival you find that it is not exactly what you wanted you may return the product to us, assuming the following:

A. The product(s) has been unused.
B. The product(s) is in the original packaging.
C. The product(s) has not been tampered with.
D. The product(s) is fit for resale when we receive it back to our warehouse.
E. The postage costs for returns of unwanted products are your responsibility.

Assuming the above terms and conditions are met we will refund your money minus our original costs for shipping and handling. Usually 15% of the total sale value. 

It is extremely important that when returning any product it is packaged in a manor that will protect the product from damage in transit. The product remains your responsibility until it has been returned to us.

Returns Procedure for Defective or Faulty Goods

If you wish to return a product due to a fault, Please contact us first to obtain authorisation before returning the product and we will advise you if the fault is covered by the warranty. If the product has been found to have a manufacturing fault we will immediately arrange for a repair/exchange or send a replacement component if agreed. If the product needs to be returned to we for inspection will email you a returns form which needs to be completed and returned with the product(s). Please note we do not cover the costs of postage for returns. Its is your responsibility to ensure the goods are returned to us. We recommend you use Parcel Force 48 hour service at your local post office.

Please also be aware that if a product is return and no manufacturing fault was found or the fault has been caused by the user. A handling and inspection fee of £22.95 will be payable before the goods are retuned to you. So please ensure you are 100% sure that the fault is a manufacturing issue before returning the goods to us.

All warranty decisions are final and subject to inspection of the goods in question.

Please note models can not be returned for a refund once they have been used or attempted to be used. The product is covered by a 28 day warranty for the repair of the faulty or defective parts only from the date of delivery.

 

 Note: Due to the nature of the products we sell and the environment they operated in, breakages can often occur. It is extremely difficult to determine the level of use and the conditions that a product may have been subjected to.

Note: Warranties are subject to individual products lines and terms vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. In general most hobby related are warranted for a period of  2 years (if you require detailed information on a warranty on the product you are thinking of buying please contact us or manufacturer for further information). In general warrantees are limited to the replacement/repair of the defective part(s) only.

It is also important to understand that all products that we sell are electro/mechanical and relatively specialist. In time these products will suffer general wear and tear and will always require regular maintenance.
